  • How does delivery with FuelTrex work?
    • It is very simple: once you have downloaded the app, you create an account where you log in your details (name, email, phone number, address, and vehicle info); you then pick a day and time that you would like for your car to be filled up, and pay for the order. Our driver will take it from there.
  • Why do you need my phone number?
    • We need your phone number so that our driver can contact you if we are having trouble accessing your vehicle or fuel tank.
  • How safe is delivery with FuelTrex?
    • Safety is at the core of what we do. Our drivers receive safety training that often exceeds the standards of the communities we serve.
  • How do I know if FuelTrex services my address?
    • Once you have downloaded the app, enter your service address and proceed to the ordering screen. If your address is serviced, you will be able to proceed with your order. If you would like us to service your address, please contact us.
  • Where should I leave my car to get filled up?
    • Because most jurisdictions do not allow for fueling on public streets, we ask that you park your car in your driveway if you live in a house, or any conventional parking spaces/lots if you live in a gated community or apartment complex.
  • How will you know which car to fill up?
    • We will have your car details (Make & Model, Color and License Plate) as part of your order.
  • How does FuelTrex access my fuel tank?
    • We ask that you leave your fuel tank flap open before the scheduled delivery.
  • How do I know when FuelTrex has filled up my tank?
    • You will receive an in-app notification as soon as our driver completes the delivery.
  • What are your hours of operations?
    • While our delivery hours vary by location, we typically deliver Monday through Saturday. Check the app to see what days and hours are available for your address.
  • What types of fuel do you offer?
    • We currently offer Top-Tier unleaded regular gasoline and Top Tier unleaded premium gasoline.
  • What is does it cost to have fuel delivered by FuelTrex?
    • Our pricing is very competitive with the fuel prices within 2 miles of your service address.
  • Do I have to have a subscription?
    • No. We believe it is best that our customers use our service for its quality and convenience, not because they feel obligated due to a subscription.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    • We currently accept payment via credit and debit card, as well as ACH. We encourage our customers to use ACH as the transaction costs are lower, and hence we can pass that extra discount to you.
  • What happens to my payment information?
    • While your payment information appears as part of your profile, your payment details are stored in Stripe’s highly secure servers, and all transactions are encrypted. Stripe is a leading-edge payment processing company that serves thousands of clients.
  • How much fuel can I order at once?
    • You can order 10 gallons at a minimum and 30 gallons at most.
  • What happens if my vehicle or fuel tank is not accessible at the scheduled time of delivery?
    • First, our driver will make two attempts to reach you via the phone number you have provided as part of your profile; if our driver is unsuccessful in reaching you, FuelTrex will charge you a $5.00 cancellation fee.

 

  • Why prepay for fuel with FuelTrex?
    • Fuel is a ubiquitous part of our lives; on average, Americans spend 5% of their income on fuel. We thought it’d be nice to be able to control such costs for the sake of budgeting and planning. Plus, our platform is more secure than any existing payment infrastructure in place at gas stations.
  • How does Prepaid with FuelTrex work?
    • It is very simple: once you have downloaded the app, you pin or select your location, select the type of fuel you are looking to purchase, check the list of fueling stations in your chosen area that offer Prepaid fuel, and you can proceed to lock-in your price.
  • How do I redeem my fuel?
    • Once you have completed your prepayment and you are ready to fill up, just head to the pump or the register. At some of our partner gas stations you have the option to unlock the pump directly.
  • Do I have to use my full balance at once?
    • No, you redeem what you need at the moment. For example, if you Prepaid 50 gallons of fuel, you can go and redeem 5 gallons at a time, if you so wish.
  • How long is my locked-in price good for?
    • It depends on each partner fueling station; it can be one day, one week, or one month. This information is available for each fueling station that you choose to purchase fuel from.
  • When can I redeem my fuel?
    • You can redeem your fuel anytime during the price validity period. But first, we ask that you check the hours of operation for the fueling station you purchased from.
  • What happens if I do not use my full balance after the lock-in rate expire? Do I lose my money?
    • After the rate expires, your balance can be used either to purchase fuel at the displayed rate or to redeem for goods inside the store.
  • What types of fuel do you offer?
    • We currently offer Top-Tier unleaded regular gasoline and Top Tier unleaded premium gasoline.
  • What’s the catch? Are there hidden fees to the Prepaid with FuelTrex?
    • With Prepaid with FuelTrex, you get what you prepay for.
  • Do I have to have a subscription?

  • Why should I join the FuelTrex platform?
    • FuelTrex was created to join in the transformation of the business model of retail fuel marketing – with the intent to make fuel retailers be more competitive in the marketplace of the future. FuelTrex wants to ensure that fuel retailers are part of the transformation rather than suffer from it, and we want to accompany you in this journey.
  • How can my fueling station join the FuelTrex platform?
    • Please use our contact form and select “Partnerships” if you are interested in becoming a partner in our platform.
  • What information will I need to have ready before I join the FuelTrex platform?
    • You will need your organization’s articles of incorporation or operating agreement; your EIN (Employer Identification Number); the name of the designee(s) who can make decisions in the FuelTrex platform on behalf of your organization, and a sworn affidavit that attests to the veracity of the information you will submit. Once you have submitted this information one of our representatives will reach out to you.
  • Can multi-store fueling station networks join the FuelTrex platform?
    • Yes – you can join our platform as one entity and subsequently enroll all your stores under a single ownership. Also, you do not need to set up a separate payment account for each of the stores under your ownership.
  • How often can my store receive payouts?
    • You can select the frequency of your payouts on your Stripe Payments page.
  • How does Prepaid with FuelTrex work?
    • Once you are registered on our platform, you simply input the inventory you are willing the sell at the locked-in rate you have chosen define the time period for which the price is valid, and simply wait for customers to flow through your store.
  • How long is my locked-in price good for?
    • You get to determine how long you want to offer a fixed price for.
